To register a domain name, follow these steps:

- Complete your order by following the steps on the page.
We offer free ID Protection for all our customers. This service keeps your domain's registrant and contact information (name, phone, email, address, etc.) private from WHOIS lookups. Without ID Protection, your information would appear in a WHOIS query, which anyone can perform (see an example here).
During checkout, you'll have the option to add a web hosting plan to your order. You do not need to add a hosting planto register your domain name.
If you decide to add a hosting plan later, you can do so through your billing account or by submitting a request to support. When adding a hosting plan, make sure to use your registered domain name as the primary domain on your account.
Once you've successfully registered your domain, it will appear in your billing dashboard under Domains > My Domains. In this section, you can manage the following:
- Manage nameservers
- Edit contact information
- Auto-renewal status
- Change the Registrar lock status
